VINEYARDS AND SOILS
To make this red wine, we have different varieties from various parcels with diverse soils, orientations and slopes. The combination of all these elements provides a unique blend of terroirs with varied characteristics.
Tempranillo from Masquefa, at the foot of Montserrat mountain. 25-year-old vines situated on a plain with high limestone presence and loamy clay soil. It offers views of Montserrat and is located 300 meters above sea level. The yield is 6,000 kg per hectare. This environment contributes to a lively Tempranillo that conveys its terroir well.

Merlot from two different parcels, each with unique characteristics. La Moja, located between La Moja and Els Monjos, has a 26-year-old vineyard on a large plain at 190 meters above sea level, with deep clay soil and a yield of 2,500 kg/ha. La Plana, in Sant Quintí de Mediona, is a 31-year-old vineyard with a slight incline at 320 meters altitude, on shallow soils with small stones and clayey texture with iron, offering a yield of 2,000 kg/ha.

Pinot Noir from the Platanos parcel in Sant Martí Sarroca. This 15-year-old vineyard is located 320 meters above sea level, at the lowest point of a slope with views of Castell de Sant Martí. The soil is deep and loamy clay, with a yield of 3,500 kg/ha.
Cabernet Sauvignon from the Vinyet de Dalt parcel in Sant Quintí de Mediona. This 23-year-old vineyard is situated 320 meters above sea level, on the final plain of the valley, facing Can Figueres. The surroundings are covered by forest, other vineyards, and small streams descending the slope. The soil is deep and loamy clay with a slight presence of small stones, yielding 2,000 kg/ha.

HARVEST
The organically grown grapes used for this wine are hand-picked in boxes with impeccable health, collecting each variety at its optimal moment.

WINEMAKING
The grapes are fermented using exclusively native yeasts that naturally occur in the vineyard. Maceration and fermentation with skins to extract all the characteristics of the vineyard. Whole clusters, including stems, are used in stainless steel tanks where carbonic maceration begins for approximately three days. Gentle pigeages are performed once a day to slowly break the grapes. As fermentation progresses and during aging on skins, the oxidized cap is removed to avoid oxidative flavors.

TASTING NOTES
This red wine exhibits a Mediterranean character with low alcohol presence. It is characterized by intense notes of red fruit. The palate offers a pleasant experience with fine tannins and good acidity, providing lightness. Matured red and black fruit flavors dominate, along with spicy notes.

FOOD PAIRING
Thanks to its good balance between fruit and structure, it is an ideal wine to enjoy by the glass. Its lower alcohol content makes it suitable for pairing with seafood dishes as well as white meats.
